The Texas Solar + Storage Association (TSSA) is the statewide association dedicated to the expansion of solar power and energy storage technologies in Texas. Our member companies are engaged in the development, installation, and operations of utility-scale, industrial, commercial, and residential solar and energy storage facilities and products, serving wholesale and retail customers with predictable, affordable, clean power.

Since 2014, TSSA has advocated on behalf of its members before the Texas Legislature, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), as well as ERCOT. Our members have installed roughly two-thirds of the solar and storage capacity in ERCOT and represent the majority of the projects in the ERCOT development queue. Solar power and energy storage today provide over 50,000 MW of electric generation capacity in ERCOT.
