About TSSA
The Texas Solar+Storage Association is the statewide trade association promoting the development and deployment of solar power and energy storage resources in Texas. Our member companies invest in the development of solar and dispatchable energy storage projects and products, providing Texas customers in both the wholesale and retail markets with predictable, affordable, clean, dispatchable electricity.
TSSA members include utility-scale power project developers, residential and commercial solar and storage providers, manufacturers, and other companies participating across the solar and storage industries in Texas.

TSSA successfully advocates for the solar and energy storage industries in Texas in both the legislative and regulatory arenas to ensure its members are able to effectively conduct business in Texas. We are deeply involved at the Texas Legislature, at the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), and at ERCOT.
TSSA has four committees, where members, staff, and consultants discuss key issues, craft policy positions, and develop strategies to execute in the policy arena. Our committees, which meet monthly, are as follows:

During the Texas legislative session, TSSA also runs an Industry Lobby Team, which consists of its Executive Director, its Legislative Affairs Director, the TSSA contract lobbyist, member company in-house government relations staff, as well as member company contract lobbyists. The Lobby Team meets in-person on a weekly basis.
